Vultures invade Florida neighborhood
TAMPA, Fla. [AP] – Vultures have descended on a Florida neighborhood, and residents are not keen on the messes and home damage caused by their fair-weathered foes.
Resident Judy Oliveri told WFLA-TV that her Tampa neighborhood has become overrun with large black birds. They reportedly arrived to the area three years ago and have been multiplying since.
“We could have 20 to 25 vultures on our roofs. They land on our screens, their under-feathers are all over the roof, their droppings are all over the place,” Oliveri said.
