Lee County School district closer to building new Estero elementary and middle school
LEE COUNTY, Fla.– The Lee County School District is getting closer to building its middle and elementary school on Three Oaks Parkway in the Village of Estero.
However, the project has received pushback. On Wednesday, neighboring residents made their voices heard as the village changed their comprehensive plan to accommodate the build.
“I just wanted the Estero Village to realize we are opposed to the school for a number of reasons,” said Marybeth Ocean, a Resident of Copper Oaks, “Flooding, we’re talking safety of the children and traffic.”
