TSA screens record amount of travelers since start of pandemic
FORT MYERS, Fla. — Officers with the Transportation Security Administration screened a pandemic-era record amount of people on Sunday, a spokesperson said.
A TSA spokesperson said that 1,850,531 travelers passed through airport checkpoints, the most since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
Although the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has relaxed their mask guidance, masks are still required to be worn at airport security checkpoints and throughout the transportation network.
