Senator Rick Scott calls for Orlando’s Pulse Night Club to be made national memorial
ORLANDO, Fla.– It’s been almost five years since 49 people were shot and killed at the Pulse Night Club in Orlando.
Some lawmakers, like U.S. Senator Rick Scott want the site declared a national memorial.
“No one is in this country should be discriminated against, ever,” said Scott.
His comments come after many in Southwest Florida’s LGBTQ community felt they were being attacked by Governor Ron DeSantis on the first week of Pride month.
