NWS issues Fire Weather alerts for Friday
The National Weather Service is issuing a red flag warning for inland Lee County, inland Charlotte County and DeSoto County between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Friday. Red flag warnings are issued when critical wildfire conditions are occurring or expected to develop shortly.
A fire weather watch is being issued for inland Collier County, Hendry County and Glades County. This watch will be active from Friday morning through Saturday evening.
