Deputies search for armed robbery suspect in Lee County

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies are searching for an armed robbery suspect in Lee County. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is trying to track down 25-year-old Travonte Smith. He and a second suspect are accused of robbing two victims at gunpoint. LCSO’s SWAT team executed a search warrant on Wednesday at a home on Railroad Avenue off of Palm Beach boulevard. 33 neglected cattle seized by agricultural deputies in Florida

**WARNING: GRAPHIC IMAGES BELOW** SARASOTA, Fla. – The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office seized more than 30 neglected cattle on Monday. A local rancher in rural Sarasota County told deputies with the agricultural unit about possible animal neglect happening at the intersection of Lorraine and Fruitville Roads. Deputies found 33 cattle, including several calves, on the property without access to food or water. One of the cattle was found dead on the property, according to Sarasota County deputies. LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A deputy with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office was involved in a crash on Lee Boulevard and Williams Avenue early Friday morning, officials said. Lee County deputy shoots ‘aggressive’ dog

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – A Lee County deputy shot and killed a dog on Palm Beach Boulevard and SR 31 Friday afternoon. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said a man, who had a dog with him, was overdosing on the side of the road. When medics and deputies arrived on scene the dog was being aggressive towards them. Medics couldn’t give aide because of the dog, so a deputy brought over food to distract the dog, and it still wasn’t having it. Rastislav Havlic was last seen at his home wearing a grey tank top, blue basketball shorts, glasses, and Jordan sliders, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. Car crashes & flips next to Fort Myers home

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Deputies with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a car that crashed into the front of a home on New York Avenue in Fort Myers late Thursday night. Multiple LCSO cruisers were seen at the location where a white sedan flipped and hit a home and at least one other vehicle. NBC2 crews saw a damaged LCSO K9 cruiser at the scene. Deputies swarm Lee County business for ‘active investigation’

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Lee County deputies have swarmed a business off of Evans Avenue and Oak Ridge Court in Lee County.
