NAPLES, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol is warning people to drive safe and not distracted after a man was caught on camera riding a motorcycle north on I-75 from Naples without holding on to the handlebars.
Troopers said the video, which was filmed by a person in another vehicle also driving on I-75 also caused concern. They said drivers should drive holding on to the wheel or handlebars of their vehicle and should not drive distracted.

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – A crash on I-75 near Corkscrew Road in Lee County left two injured, Florida Highway Patrol troopers confirmed.
A pickup truck driver and a woman in the truck had minor injuries after the crash. Troopers said the pickup truck was in an adjacent lane to another car driving south on I-75 in the area.
The driver of the other car involved in the crash tried to change lanes and didn’t see the pickup truck driving in the center lane, according to FHP. The front right of the car sideswiped the left rear of the pickup truck, causing the truck to go off the road and overturn....
COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — At least one person was injured in a crash on Interstate 75 in Collier County on Thursday night, officials said.
Deputies with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office and rescue crews with the Greater Naples Fire Rescue responded to the crash near mile marker 107 on southbound I-75 just after 11 p.m.
The driver ran from the crash scene and was later found at a Chase Bank in the Crossroads Market Plaza not too far from the crash. He was taken into custody.
A second person involved in the crash was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
LEE COUNTY, Fla. – A crash involving a dump truck left traffic delayed for hours on I-75 in Fort Myers on Wednesday.
Florida Highway Patrol said the 54-year-old driver has minor injuries after the crash and was cited for careless driving.
The dump truck, which was fully loaded with gravel, was going north in the outside lane of I-75 north near Colonial Boulevard, according to troopers. The front right tired of the dump truck went onto the east shoulder.

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. — At least one person died in a crash on southbound I-75 near mile marker 39, officials said.
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol have shutdown all southbound lanes and one northbound lane of I-75 in West Broward County.
Avoid the area and use an alternate route as troopers investigate the crash.
