FSW softball team removed from Southwest flight for not wearing masks

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Florida SouthWestern State College’s softball team was removed from a Southwest flight for refusing to wear masks. Southwest Airlines confirmed federal law requires everyone age two and over to wear a mask at all times throughout a flight. “Our reports indicate that individuals traveling as part of a group refused to wear masks after being reminded multiple times by our Crew,” a spokesperson with Southwest said in a statement. FSW Softball leads the way with school’s first national championship

FORT MYERS, Fla. – After only six years the Florida Southwestern athletics department brought home its first national championship over the weekend after going a perfect 5-0 in the NJCAA national tournament. FSW softball moves on to quarterfinals

YUMA, Az. – The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneer had a 13-3 run rule victory over the Central Alabama Trojans on Tuesday afternoon in the first round of the NJCAA National Tournament. Trojans started off in the lead, only to be overshadowed by the Bucs in the bottom of the first inning with a 4-2 lead. FSW maintained their stride, rising to a 9-2 lead by the second inning, according to FSW. By the fifth inning, the Bucs secured a 13-3 run rule win.
