CAPE CORAL, Fla. – A Cape Coral woman is accused of crashing into a Cape Coral home Saturday morning. ISLAMORADA, Fla. (AP) — Packages of cocaine keep washing ashore the Florida Keys. The most recent packages washed up on Wednesday and Thursday on the Islamorada shoreline. Each package weighed about 2.4 pounds (1.1 kilograms), Adam Hoffner, a U.S. Border Patrol spokesman, told the Miami Herald. Team of Charlotte County detectives take on cold case murders

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – Once a murder case goes cold it can be nearly impossible to solve. But the three-man team in Charlotte county said they’ll talk to anyone and go anywhere to find answers. LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. – A man stole someone’s credit card and spent over $1,400 at a local gas station and Walmart on Wednesday. Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said they are looking for the man involved in the credit card fraud and grant theft case. The suspect stole the victim’s credit card at an Olive Garden in Cape Coral. ATLANTA / CNN — Four people were sentenced to federal prison for buying over a million dollars’ worth of cigarettes with stolen credit cards. Shrimp boat caught with 350 snapper more than legal limit

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Officers discovered more than 350 snappers past the legal bag limit in a shrimp boat freezer, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission [FWC]. Investigators found other potential violations during the offshore inspection and forwarded the evidence to NOAA’s Office of Law Enforcement, FWC reported. VIDEO: Police chase 17-year-old hit and run suspect through the woods

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Just minutes after a 6:30 a.m. crash in Daytona Beach on Wednesday, a teen got out of his car and took off down the road on foot, leaving the other driver at the scene, police said. The Daytona Beach Police Department Aviation Unit quickly launched two drones, as ground units and K9s went in search of the hit and run suspect.
