CLEWISTON, Fla. – A person was seen approaching multiple Clewiston homes in the overnight hours of May 12 and 13.
Now, the Clewiston Police Department is trying to identify the suspect. These incidents happened within the confines of East Avenida del Rio, North San Diego Street, North San Gabriel Street, and East Sugarland Highway.

ARCADIA, Fla. – Residents in an Arcadia neighborhood are looking over their shoulders after a shooting leaves a corner store owner dead.
Neighbors said the shooting happened at the Fiesta Food Mart on Magnolia Street around 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
A suspect went into the store shooting and killing the store’s owner, Saleh Ahmed, who was working at the time, according to neighbors. The suspect then left the store.

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – A car was shot at early Saturday morning on Fleetwood Drive and Joplin Avenue in Port Charlotte.
The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office said they were investigating the shooting after it was reported around 4:40 a.m. in the Murdock area.
A car was hit by bullets, and after talking with witnesses, Charlotte County deputies said they believe it was a directed incident.
The investigation is ongoing and the Major Crimes Unit with CCSO is continuing to follow leads.

NAPLES, Fla.– Collier County deputies responded to an armed robbery at a Naples jewelry store on Friday afternoon.
Three men walked into Certified Jewelers in Greentree Plaza at 4:18 PM armed with handguns. They proceeded to rob the store.
No one was injured during the robbery, according to authorities.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.– An Orange Park man plead guilty to advertising child porn for sale online. According to the Department of Justice, Antony Eugene Woody faces up to 30 years in federal prison followed by a life term of probation.
The mandatory minimum Woody could receive is 15 years in prison.
According to court documents, the 33-year-old went by the username “imsoofreakyy” to offer child sex abuse photos for sale on the web.

BAYOU LA BATRE, Ala. / CNN — Charges are pending following a big fight in Bayou La Batre, Alabama that left multiple people injured, officials said.
Investigators weren’t able to release much information because the incident is still being investigated, but the lead detective was able to confirm that several people are injured after a large fight.
Charges are pending, the investigator said, but did not mention if more than one person would be charged.
A family member of someone who was injured in the brawl said some of the people who got hurt were held underwater and beaten.

BOULDER, Co. / NBC News — The Colorado grocery store where a gunman killed 10 people in March will reopen later this year, officials said.
The King Soopers renovation should be completed by late fall, Jessica Trowbridge, corporate affairs manager for the company said.

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Lee County deputies have swarmed a business off of Evans Avenue and Oak Ridge Court in Lee County.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed this is an active investigation, but have not confirmed what they are investigating.
LCSO Crime scene vans were also seen at the business, which is now surrounded in Crime scene tape.
Two people were seen in handcuffs at the business being taken away by deputies.
