CLEWISTON, Fla. – A person was seen approaching multiple Clewiston homes in the overnight hours of May 12 and 13. Now, the Clewiston Police Department is trying to identify the suspect. These incidents happened within the confines of East Avenida del Rio, North San Diego Street, North San Gabriel Street, and East Sugarland Highway. Store owner dead after shooting in Arcadia

ARCADIA, Fla. – Residents in an Arcadia neighborhood are looking over their shoulders after a shooting leaves a corner store owner dead. Neighbors said the shooting happened at the Fiesta Food Mart on Magnolia Street around 2:30 p.m. on Friday. A suspect went into the store shooting and killing the store’s owner, Saleh Ahmed, who was working at the time, according to neighbors. Deputies investigate early morning Port Charlotte shooting

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – A car was shot at early Saturday morning on Fleetwood Drive and Joplin Avenue in Port Charlotte. The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office said they were investigating the shooting after it was reported around 4:40 a.m. in the Murdock area. Three men robbed a Naples jewelry store in the Greentree Plaza

NAPLES, Fla.– Collier County deputies responded to an armed robbery at a Naples jewelry store on Friday afternoon. Three men walked into Certified Jewelers in Greentree Plaza at 4:18 PM armed with handguns. They proceeded to rob the store. No one was injured during the robbery, according to authorities. Florida man pleads guilty to selling child abuse images online

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.– An Orange Park man plead guilty to advertising child porn for sale online. According to the Department of Justice, Antony Eugene Woody faces up to 30 years in federal prison followed by a life term of probation. The mandatory minimum Woody could receive is 15 years in prison. According to court documents, the 33-year-old went by the username “imsoofreakyy” to offer child sex abuse photos for sale on the web.
