PUNTA GORDA, Fla. – The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect accused of stealing $400 worth of meat from a restaurant in Punta Gorda on May 8. Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Deputies said a suspect was caught on surveillance cameras burglarizing Shenanigans bar and grill at 3103 Broadpoint Road around 3:30 a.m. by taking meat from an outdoor cooler. MIAMI, Fla. [NBC6] – Police are investigating a death after the body of a missing 16-year-old girl was found on Sunday evening. Family members identified the teen as Dayana Gomez Sanchez. City of Miami police officers were dispatched at around 5:20 p.m. to the 1200 block of Northeast 79th Street, near Pelican Harbor Marina, where they found the body. Sanchez was last seen on Saturday leaving her home to go for a run around 6 p.m., according to police.
