COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – A driver was seriously injured after a dump truck hauling gravel flipped on SR 82 in Collier County Thursday morning. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office confirmed SR 82 is closed in both directions near Gator Slough Road due to the rollover crash. Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash and said troopers believe the dump truck was the one vehicle involved. Two people were on board the single-engine plane that crashed two miles south of I-75 near mile marker 55, according to Greater Naples Fire Rescue officials.
