SANTA CRUZ, Calif. / CNN — A stolen tortoise was returned to its rightful owner on Monday, officials said. Deputies with the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office were investigating stolen packages on Portola Drive when they identified Israel Santos, 28, as a suspect. CNN – A fish with a nightmarish mug washed up on a California beach last week.
