Shrimp boat caught with 350 snapper more than legal limit
LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Officers discovered more than 350 snappers past the legal bag limit in a shrimp boat freezer, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission [FWC].
Investigators found other potential violations during the offshore inspection and forwarded the evidence to NOAA’s Office of Law Enforcement, FWC reported.
FWC announced the bust in a Facebook post and hashtagged Lee County.
