At least one person dead in Collier County crash

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – At least one person died in a crash on SR-29 and Oil Well Road on Monday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The two-vehicle crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. One driver died, one passenger is in critical condition and the other driver is seriously injured, FHP reported.

SR-29 is closed two miles north of Oil Well Road.

Troopers did not say when the road will reopen.
